The backup van carries your luggage, spare parts and oxygen, so you only carry what you need for the day.</p>

Can I ride pillion?

Yes. A pillion seat costs less and shares a bike with a rider in the group.

What if I feel unwell at altitude?

The backup van carries oxygen and the road captain is trained in altitude sickness. We plan two rest days in Leh for this reason.

Fitness Level

You should be comfortable riding 120 to 180 km a day on mountain roads.

Weather Notes

Days are warm and nights near freezing at Pangong. Pack layers.
