This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms for cancelling your Tourify subscription and requesting refunds. Tourify ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by Tourify Technologies. By subscribing to any paid plan, you agree to this policy.
1. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your Tourify subscription at any time. Here is how the cancellation process works:
- Self-service cancellation: Navigate to Settings > Billing > Cancel Subscription in your Tourify dashboard. Your cancellation will be processed immediately.
- Access after cancellation: Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have full access to all features during this time.
- Data retention: After your subscription ends, your data is retained for 30 days. During this period, you can reactivate your subscription to restore full access. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted.
- Downgrade to Free: Instead of cancelling, you can downgrade to the Free plan to retain limited access to your data.
2. Refund Eligibility
Monthly Plans
Monthly subscriptions are not eligible for refunds. When you cancel a monthly plan, you retain access for the remainder of the billing period, but no refund is issued for the current month.
Annual Plans
Annual subscriptions are eligible for a pro-rata refund based on the unused portion of your subscription:
- The refund is calculated based on the number of full, unused months remaining in your annual subscription
- Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the action giving rise to the request
- The refund amount will be calculated at the annual plan rate, not the monthly rate
Example
If you subscribed to the Pro annual plan (₹6,399/month billed annually = ₹76,788/year) and cancel after 4 months, the refund would be: ₹76,788 - (4 x ₹6,399) = ₹51,192.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Cancel your subscription from Settings > Billing in your Tourify dashboard
- Send an email to billing@tourify.in with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your registered email address, organisation name, and the reason for your refund request
- Our team will review your request and respond within 3 business days
4. Processing Timeline
Once a refund is approved:
- Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days from the date of approval
- The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the subscription
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated
- Bank processing times may vary; please allow additional time for the refund to appear in your account
5. Exceptions
Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:
- Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
- Failure to cancel before the next billing cycle (charges already processed)
- Add-on purchases or one-time charges, unless otherwise specified
- Requests made more than 30 days after the relevant charge
